BOLLORE Transport and Logistics is looking for suitably qualified candidates to fill up the following position;
Customs Clerks (Chingola) x2
The successful candidate is expected, to prepare, Register and monitor Entries for Customs Clearance purposes, Compile Daily Reports, file entry documents he will report to the Customs Manager in Chingola. Minimum Qualifications for this appointment are Customs Clearing Diploma 4 years post qualification experience and should have full knowledge of the new ASYCUDA world system. Working knowledge of bonded warehousing systems and procedures will be an added advantage.
Human Resources Officer
The successful candidate is expected to provide day-to-day administrative and office support in the various Human Resource functions and S/he will Report directly to the Human Resources Manager. S/he is expected to add value to the organisation by being the first point of contact for all HR related matters in industrial relations, employee performance and welfare to enable it achieve it business objects; The prospective candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree Qualification in Business/Public Administration with a bias in Human Resource Administration & at least 5 years post qualification experience in Human Resource Administration.
Chinese Delegate
The Chinese Delegate will be responsible for securing new accounts through effective prospecting, developing existing accounts, nurturing clients relationships, meeting required financial targets and providing performance. S/he will report to the Commercial Manager. The prospective candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree Qualification Degree in Logistics and/or Diploma in Logistics & at least eight (8) years in Business Development/Sales & Marketing or At least five (5) years in Transport & Logistics Industry. The candidate must be Fluent in both English and Mandarin.
Manager Road Transport & Local Distribution
The successful candidate is expected to coordinate the Road Transport service activities during the execution of contracts within the assigned budgets. S/he is Responsible for the implementation of the Road Transport and TSL policy, optimising staff performance through defining appropriate KPI’s, effective communication and support. In addition he will be responsible for developing the company’s LCL business, and increasing LCL volume and profitability in line with Zone and Global directives. The candidate must have Degree in Business Administration or Similar Qualification with at least 7 Years of work relevant experience, 5 of which should be as a Manager. S/he must be fluent in both written and verbal English and able to use Microsoft applications such as Excel, Word and Power Point. Furthermore, S/he must be able to work independently, be self-assured as well as have a diplomatic personality. S/he will Report directly to the Operations Manager South.
Business Development Analyst
The Business Development Analyst will provide support to the Commercial Department by conducting timely market research and segmentation. The candidate will also participate in designing and implementing sales support tools development, develop and follow up on business leads. S/he will also be actively be involved in Preparation of Tenders, Request for Proposals, Request for Registration, contracts the consolidation and updating of the country Marketing Budget. The minimum qualifications for this appointment are Degree in Economics, Business Administration or similar qualification, ability to collect, classify, analyze, interpret & present numerical facts on a timely basis. Furthermore S/he should have at least 6 Years of work experience in a Similar position and possess leadership qualities and excellent communication skills. Most importantly S/he must be a self-starter and be able to work with minimum supervision. S/he will Report directly to the Commercial Manager.
Operations Controller
The successful candidate is expected to monitor the operational risks (customs, demurrages & detention, quality of services) across the different logistics activities. S/he needs to ensure that the company is not exposed to significant operational risks and implement all necessary decisions required to decrease the risk exposure. S/he is expected to ensure that SOPs are properly applied at each level of the organisation. The prospective candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree Qualification in Business Administration/ Logistics & At least eight (8) years in Business Development or At least five (5) years the operations Department in Transport & Logistics Industry. The candidate must be result driven and possess excellent leadership qualities. He will Report directly to the Country Operations Manager.
Head of Operations Northern Region
The successful candidate is expected to coordinate the operations of various BOLLORE activities for the northern region. S/he is also expected to manage the sustainable & profitable development of these activities which include Clearing & Forwarding, Value Added Warehousing, Transportation and local distribution. The prospective candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree Qualification in Business Administration/Logistics with At least Ten (10) years relevant experience in Business Development or in a Transport & Logistics Industry, 7 of which must be as a manager. The candidate must be result driven, have firm knowledge of Finance and Administration and possess excellent leadership qualities and communication skills. Most importantly S/he must be a self-starter and be able to work with minimum supervision. He will Report directly to the Country Operations Manager.
Sea Import /Export and Forwarding Operators x2
The successful candidate is expected to assist with the processing of sea import and export documents. Duties will include data entry, opening of files, photocopying, and scanning of documents, ensuring all documents are placed on the file and it is are ready for closure, preparing transmission schedules of files for archiving and invoices for dispatch. Minimum Qualification for this appointment is Diploma Business Administration with 3 years relevant post qualification experience. S/he will Report directly to the Sea freight Import & Export Manager.
