How can you make a difference?
Under the supervision of the HIV Specialist (Adolescents), the incumbent will provided technical assistance for the design, implementation and monitoring of the Adolescents HIV and gender responsive adolescent sexual and reproductive health (SRH) component of the UNICEF country programme. He/she will has a priority geographic focus on the 11 MDGi districts, but will also provide national level TA support and assistance to the expansion of the Adolescent Health Services Platform (AHSP) beyond the 11 MDGi districts with a priority focus on the adolescent health components of the joint UNFPA-UNICEF supported, DFID funded, MOH MMNCAH+N programme. The position will primarily provide technical assistance to the MOH and its adolescent health partners at national, provincial, and district levels for the effective implementation of the AHSP, under the new MOH Adolescent Health Strategy (2017-2021). This position will also have a significant focus on supporting field monitoring within UNICEF support districts to ensure expanded programme linkages for the effective integration of gender responsive adolescent HIV and SRH services and the efficient utilization of resources and supplies by the MOH and other key partners.
