Zambia Postal Services Corporation (ZamPost) is the national postal service provider existing under the revised Postal Services Act of 2009 with the mandate to provide postal, courier, logistical and financial services, The Corporation runs a well-diversified service portfolio and owns subsidiaries that include ZamPost Microfinance Limited, ZamPost Insurance Brokers limited, ZamPost  Travel and Tours and Postbus Limited. Suitably qualified persons are now required to fill the following vacancies in executive and non-executive job roles:

Area Accountants (5 POSITIONS) – GRADE P7

Job Role
The purpose of the job is to provide accounting service to a Postal Area by ensuring timely and accurate recording of financial transportations, enhanced internal controls and carrying out inspections at Post Offices to safeguard the Corporation’s funds and assets.
Internal Auditors x 8 – GRADE P7

Job purpose
To carry out internal audit work as per Audit Plan in order to ensure organization-wide adherence to company policies, policies, procedures and other regulatory requirements. The job role also assists the corporation to attain its strategic objectives through an effective internal control environment.
Grade and Station:
This is a grade P7 position. The workstation is the Main Post Office at the 12 Provincial Centres of Zambia.
DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
GRADE : P10
Purpose of the Job
The Director of Operations is the chief operating officer and has lead responsibility for operations' control as well as the effective implementation and execution of the Corporation's Strategic Plan across Business Units, Postal Areas and Functional units in the Corporation to ensure strategic success.
Grade and Station
This is a senior management position at grade P10 and is part of the Executive Management Committee (EMC) of the Corporation. The work station is ZamPost Headquarters in Ndola.
Reporting Line
The Director of Operations reports to the Postmaster General who is Chief Executive Officer.
Statement of Key Responsibilities
The main duties or responsibilities of this job role include the following:
        To direct, control and coordinate business processes at Post Offices across the Corporation to ensure effective and efficient operations management.

CHIEF INTERNAL AUDITOR

GRADE : P10

Job Role

To plan, organize, coordinate, control and supervise all the activities of the Internal Audit Department.

Grade and Station This is a senior management position at grade P10 and is part of the Executive Management Committee (EMC) of the Corporation. The work station is ZamPost Headquarters in Ndola.

Reporting Line

The Chief Internal Auditor reports administratively to the Postmaster General and functionally to the Audit Committee of the ZamPost Board of Directors.

Statement of Key Responsibilities

The main duties of the Chief Internal Auditor include the following:

        To develop Internal Audit Plans to guide the work of the Internal Audit Department and thereby form the basis for an effective internal audit function.
