BREWERY MANAGER – LUSAKA xl
Contract: Permanent
Reporting to the Regional Manager, the chosen candidates will mainly be responsible for the following:
  • To manage and coordinate the Brewing Department (People, Plant, Process and Systems) in order to achieve the required standard Of product quality and output in the most efficient and effective manner.
  • Plan resources requirements and implementation Of strategic objectives
  • Manage productivity of the plant
  • Translate and implement Brewing, Manufacturing and business strategies
  • Manage occupational health, safety and risk
  • Organize and interpret data and operational information
  • Compile and Manage Budgets
  • Authorize weekly / annual production plans

QUALITY MANAGER – LUSAKA xl

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the chosen candidate will mainly be responsible for the following: –
To ensure that all quality control procedures and activities in the plant and executed as per procedures. This covers the method, frequency and standards as specified in the manuals.

Reporting to the Managing Director, the chosen candidate will mainly be responsible for the following;-
Shaping and driving the Commercial agenda in the Traditional African Beer (TAB) Business Unit, with specific responsibility for developing and implementing an integrated commercial strategy for the Business Unit and delivering all the key commercial processes.
The Commercial Services Executive is the strategic interface between Brand Marketing, Channel Marketing and Sales and Distribution leaders in order to embed a strategic integrated approach to commercial resources development and management to deliver business results.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Providing Sales and Distribution management services to line.
  • Providing leadership to Freight, Distribution Services, and Channel Development teams.
  • Co-ordinating programs that assist the business to achieve superior results.
  • Creating high levels of efficiency and effective utilisation of commercial resources to enhance productivity.
  • Reviewing and developing policies and processes that promote high productivity within the commercial function.

To partner with the leadership of the business and support units to facilitate the implementation of the Human Resource strategy, policies and practices. Provide strategic advice on people issues, organisational design, and Human Resource product needs.

To ensure optimum utilisation Of plant through effective asset care, in a safe work environment, to produce quality product at minimum cost which meets customer requirements while complying with legislation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

REGIONAL MANAGER – LUSAKA x 1

Reporting to the Managing Director, the chosen candidate will mainly be responsible for the  following: –
To assume responsibility for the efficient and profitable Operation of the Southern Region TAB Business from allocated resources.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • To recommend and implement regional operational strategies, goals and policies and to ensure they are congruent with the agreed view taken by the TAB business
  • To formulate budgets for the region and to provide for the proper control and use of approved financial resources. Approval by the Managing Director constitutes authority to operate within the parameters of the plan / budget.
  • To critique and support business plans developed by Brewery Managers with rationales, critical dates, costs, benefits, standards of performance and methods of measurement clearly defined.
    To obtain the commitment Of those Managers who report to him to the corporate goals and strategies and to assist, motivate and develop these Managers.
  • Continuously reappraise stated plans in the light Of changed circumstances and make necessary recommendations Of adjustments thereto. Similarly, to conduct regular performance review Of how subordinates are achieving set targets
  • To prepare a work program for each year based on approved plans, such program to be based on agreed manpower and succession plans and objectives and strategies agreed with the Manging Director.
  • To recommend and after approval, establish an organisation structures designed to support and appropriately implement approved program. To select, train and motivate and develop Managers reporting directly to him so as to ensure the attainment of pre-established objectives.
  • To coordinate the generation of monthly and quarterly reports for the Southern Region for review by the M Manager
  • To set up systems that ensures that the security of the region is at all times adequate and that the personal records and affairs of all employees remain confidential.
  • To periodically review all regional liabilities and ensure that they are properly discharged and to monitor the state of all business premises.
  • To continuously interrogate the value chain for opportunities i.e. from inbound logistics, production, outbound logistics, sales and marketing, ICT.
