PROJECT ACCOUNTANT – ADMIN ASSISTANT
Responsibilities:
  • Support Mission Finance Officer
  • Carry-out project Finance and Accounting related activities
  • Collection and processing of financial documentation, management of advances
  • Cashhook and Bankbook compilation and record keeping
  • Maintain financial data entries, controls and verifications
  • Consolidation of financial documentation for financial reporting purposes
  • Participate in Procurement, present in the Procurement evaluation committee
  • Management of payrolls and legal deductions, taxations and contributions
  • Maintenance and archiving of financial documentation
  • Assets utilization management and record keeping, keeping of inventory
  • Support administration and logistics of the project office
ENTREPRENEURSHIP TRAINER
Responsibilities:
  • Support and assist the Project Coordinator
  • Ensure management of day-to-day implementation of entrepreneurship-related project activities according to project document such as organization and facilitation of trainings, workshops, supervising saving and landing circles, management of revolving fund, market linkages, linkages to financial institutions, mentoring and follow-up of businesses, etc.
  • Cooperate with Livelihoods Mentors on activity planning and their implementation
  • Maintain necessary project administration and documentation
  • Participate on regular reports, draw up action plans, assessment of progress, formulation of new project opportunities, etc.
LIVELIHOODS OFFICER
Responsibilities:
  • Support and assist the Project Coordinator
  • Ensure strategic development of livelihoods components of the emergency refugee project
  • Develop detailed design of livelihoods activities
  • Ensure management of day-to-day implementation of livelihoods-related project activities according to project document such organization and facilitation of training, workshops and capacity building in the areas of entrepreneurship, financial literacy, savings, life skills, business development, employment promotion, vocational training, market linkages and local social and economic networks management
  • Supervision, mentoring and follow-up of livelihoods mentors for graduation approach
  • Cooperate with Agriculture Officer on activity planning and their implementation
  • Maintain necessary project administration and documentation
  • Participate on regular reports, draw up action plans, assessment of progress, formulation of new project opportunities, development of project tools, guidelines, etc.
JUNIOR FIELD OFFICER
Requirements:
  • education in social work, community mobilization, business, management or administration
  • proven experience in community mobilization and field work
  • experience with income generating activities and small businesses is advantage
  • experience working with international organizations or NGOs is an advantage
  • fluent in English – written and spoken
  • fluent in Chinyanja – written and spoken. French is an advantage
  • excellent coordination and organizational skills, good time management, team worker, reliable and hardworking, able to work under pressure
  • good computer skills – MS office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and internet
  • motorbike driving licence
SOCIAL COUNSELLOR
Responsibilities:
  • Support and assist the Social Services Officer
  • Ensure day-to-day implementation of social-related project activities according to project document such as mobilization of communities and target beneficiaries, organization of awareness raising activities, workshops, trainings, identification and targeting of vulnerables, subsistence and education support, adult literacy classes, referral system, community support networks engagement and development, legal and psychosocial counselling, youth and child friendly corners etc.
  • Case management, providing support to vulnerable children and adults, with specific needs as refugees
  • Supervision of outreach centres and outreach volunteers
  • Cooperate with Livelihoods Mentors on activity planning and their implementation
  • Maintain accurate records, necessary project administration and documentation
  • Participate on regular reports, draw up action plans, assessment of progress, data collection, data processing and analysis, development of project tools, guidelines, etc.
