CASH OFFICER

Required Knowledge, Skills & Competencies

The ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding of Banking operations, policies and procedures. Should have excellent Interpersonal and communication skill, computer appreciation, supervisory skills, customer service orientation, professional disposition, Possess IT appreciation & application skills, Ability to pay attention to details.

Duties and Responsibilities;

Ensures that customers are efficiently attended and served within turnaround time.
Ensures that policies and procedures are followed.
Ensures the accuracy and promptness in tellers carrying out their duties.
Ensures accurate balancing of tellers and vault on a daily basis
Ensures GL accounts are in proof
Ensures maintenance of efficient COP balance
Has to be vigilant at all times to avoid occurrence of fraud

Minimum Education Qualifications;

Degree in Business (Credit or better) from a recognized university
Grade Twelve Certificate with at least 5 credits including English and Mathematics.
